Why is today not our International Geek Day?
Harrison Ford was born in Chicago on July 13, 1942. Patrick Stewart was born in Mirfield, United Kingdom on July 13, 1940. Why has today not been set aside as an international holiday for geeks?
Indiana Jones, Han Solo, Professor Xavier and Captain Jen Luc Picard, in OUR universe, share a birthday. If that’s not enough proof that the universe has shined upon this date as a geeky holiday, it’s also Spongebob Squarepants‘ birthday (voice actor, Tom Kenny, 1962) and Dr. Ken/Mr. Chow/Ben Chang from Community (Ken Jeong, 1969). I think that should settle this as being a reason to exchange gifts with the geek you love and celebrate.
