The Final Five and Jimmy Fallon bring home Tonight Show gold!
Let’s be honest. The Olympics were alright. A little too much drama outside of the games, but it was nice to see some sports we only watch once every 4 years. The truth is, we’ve missed Jimmy Fallon! He’s finally back and his guests have already been great. Now, if only there were a way to combine the high points of the Olympic games with the fun and games of “The Tonight Show.”
Jimmy’s guests last night were “The Final Five” and the iconic music legend, Dolly Parton! Late night television doesn’t get much more exciting than this, unless you combine it with “Hungry, Hungry Hippos” played with humans instead of hippos and throw in Donald Glover from his new, buzzed-about FX show, “Atlanta” (a show he describes as “Twin Peaks,” but for rappers), as well as one of our absolute favorite television sitcoms, “Community” and do we even have to mention that he’s a writer and musical artist?
The Final Five, consisting of Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Simone Biles, Laurie Hernandez and Madison Kocian absolutely exhausted the ever-competitive Fallon and knocked Tariq from The Roots and Glover into last place. The winners were the team of Hernandez and Raisman. Not a gold medal, but who doesn’t want to win a game of Hungry, Hungry HUMANS against Jimmy Fallon? If only Dolly Parton would have sung the theme while they played!
See all the fun from an oversized board game we want to take home in this video. “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” airs weeknights at 11:30/10:30c on NBC.
